wow. She was the only FS I could find for a long time. FLuttershy is the one I have never seen in stores..ever.

I had no idea this one was worth this kind of money. I have one sitting in my basement right now that I've been tinkering with the idea of opening. Now I don't think that's such a good idea anymore. LOL Holy smokes!

Is Hasbro planning a new release?

Not confirmed no.

But almost all the FS ponies are re releases of already released FS ponies - in fact except for Applejack, Fluttershy and Shining Armour every single FS pony has had a multiple release.

Hasbro seem to like this line - they continue to release waves. At some point, I am sure AJ will appear in a case again - the question is more how and when than if for me. But that being said it is certainly not 100% that it will happen.

And yes at the Fair Hasbro via their pat answers confirmed "Twilight Sparkle and Cadance" as this years FS ponies. Yes so far this year we have also seen 3 releases of FS Pinkie and a coming soon Rarity. So even their answers are a little patchy. :(
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

Oh my ... gotta talk to my daughter about that. She owns one and adores her... AJ shares most facettes of her life. Bathtub and shower, playground and garden, trips to friends, to grandma ... and so on. I of course would never take a toy away from my kid just because its pricey, but I might tell her about so shes gonna be more careful with her pony :)

My dad did that..... If he found out I had a toy that was in a collector's guide, he took it away from me and put it up on a super high shelf. It didn't matter if the item was priced $1 or $100, up on the shelf it went. One of my favorites that got taken away from me was a little plastic Fisher Price lunch box that looked like a barn. Guess what it was priced at in the book...... $2.50!!!!! Yeah, so if your child has a FS Applejack PLEASE do not punish her/him for having a valuable toy.

I'm just grateful that I bought my FS Applejack new from Wal-Mart. She was the first G4 that I bought.

Oh my, poor thing! Thats awful that your dad did that :( *hugs*
Id never do that to my child. Sure, Im eyeing that AJ now lol, but... no, it will break her heart of I took that pony away. Never worth the money!! Id rather sell my own MIB before touching hers.

I'm with the others that still need her.  I had her in my hands when I first got into G4's (I tired to deny them :p) and put her back!

I remember when the local TRU had a whole bunch of them. But I don't collect G4s and they are overpriced here so I didn't pick any up. Oh Mr Hindsight, how I hate you :P

She's the only FS with bangs that I'm aware of too, so even if they did re-release her, it would probably be a different head mold. I'm thinking the FS Applejack with bangs probably won't be released again.

Makes me want to turn a FS Pinkie Pie (which is all my current walmart has) into a Applejack :P

Do you think anyone would rather have a custom version of her for way cheaper than the 200 bucks real one?

I'm just so annoyed that I saw her around everywhere and didn't get her....then my ex boyfriend had found her and Rarity, and bought me Rarity.

Well, of course look who then got re-released, haha. xD

Yeah.  Beloved toys are priceless friends.  <3. I love that she takes AJ everywhere.  That's wonderful!
