I need help with a full body paint sealant!

Hi i could really use some help i started making custom ponies. I air brush some of them full body with createx paint they have beautiful colors. especially the pearl and iridescent. I'm having an issue with a sealant. i need a good glossy sealant with these colors. i've used rustoleum x2 protection and lacquer finish and it seems that anything that comes in contact with this seal it takes the form of it being hair and what not sticking to it! Can someone please help me!!!!

thank you so much! i'm going to try this. is there any way to stop it from being sticky before it ruins my pony paint job? i have a couple that have ended up like this and want to save them!

When I first started making customs I was using Krylon spray on sealant, bad idea it made the pony sticky and that pony picked up every piece of dust and hair floating in the house

So what I did was I bought proper sealant (I use Folk Art Satin/Matte liquid sealant) and I applied that. It provided the right protection for the paint job while removing the stickiness of the other sealant.

yay so my ponies can be saved!!!??? thats great! i'm going to get some of that stuff right now. what about a gloss finish for my pearl and iridescent colors? can i use the same stuff you mentioned and still give the brilliance of the colors?

Folk Art also has a Gloss variant The Matte version will probably take some shine off although I have used it over metallic colours in the past and it works ok. Glossy is always better for anything shiny or glittery, though!

I have both the satin and gloss folk art sealants, I use satin over the metallic/pearl FBRs (it still allows the FBR colours to shine brilliantly without being as shiny as the eyes which I use the gloss sealant for).
