I just can't see why someone would pay that much for something that surely will be released, it's not like with Minty A or Sweetie Blue where they try a new color mold with inexpensive hair and a pretty easy to design Cutie Mark, this is a whole new mold and something that isn't as easy to make as a new brushable. However, it's down to whatever the bidder is willing to pay, and if he or she really thought that this was worth the money, then I am happy for them and hope that they enjoy their purchase! That is if they make good on their word that they would pay that much.

There is a middle ground... he could be released in this same mold but with a different color scheme. That's the only way I can see that kind of bidding coming close to making sense.

WHY is this pony so darn popular?  Of course, I've never seen Dr. Who, and I really don't want to, so I probably don't "get it".  It just doesn't seem worth paying so much money for an inch-tall piece of plastic o_O

i want him mostly for the pose.
i love to customize blind bags.
and personally i won't pay more than 4$ for one, so i will happily wait to get that price if i need to.
but the show is pretty awesome. have a friend who's obsessed with it, and she would get a kick out of the mini dr. whooves. but not enough space for a big one.

i don't get why the dizzy little pegasus pony is so popular. that one always confused me.
