figured id show you guys this little gem I made on the game a while ago to torment the boys... they look out their tower windows... to see a GIANT painfully pink castle in the distance. hand made, no mods or creative. =P

I was forever fiddling with lighting in this beast cause it was made mostly of wool and sandstone... I kept having issues with monsters spawning in it and ruining my day cause it was just so huge it was rough getting it well enough lit without messing up my décor =P

I meant to get some good shots of it at sunset and sunrise, but ran out of time lol the server was -kinda- reset, but I guess our old 'neighborhood' was saved into the nether... not sure how that worked really, but itll be hilarious when I get back to exploring in there and stumble across Dream Castle surrounded by lava and filled with zombie pigmen... if it doesn't catch fire from... you know... all the FIRE.

im debating making Paradise Estate next, but another pink structure feels like double dipping, so well see. =P

this project was revenge at its sweetest... for the longest time there was only one girl on this server, the rest were all 'the boys'... then I joined... I like skulls and dungeons and regular gothic architecture as much as the next person... but I decided to build this right in Ricks sideyard to annoy him...

I was thinking of making it again now that they've introduced dyable clays that are fire resistant and way stronger than the wool... but the colors are SO dingy =/

That is awesome! I'm working (very slowly) on making Ponyland in Minecraft - Dream Castle, Paradise Estate, the works. I want to expand it to the Mushrump and Flutter Valley too... basically everything from the movie.

lol great idea with the mushromp and everything else (if you google it you can find a seed you can play on that is a giant mushroom forest and mushroom COWS)

I found myself running out of ideas for what the inside would look like... since it doesn't really show much on the shows... but more than just a few rooms and it felt... less grand... *shrug* I prolly shoulda went bigger but I didn't want to take the WHOLE server for myself! =P

and as to lightning, lol yeah it was a concern for me, but when the guy whos in charge of the server I play on walked into my castle and was impressed he fiddled with the difficulty settings and made it to where lightning wont start fires. (waiting for him to get back from Disney world and turn the server back on... haven't been on in 2 weeks- just a solo game! I wanna see if I can find it in the nether! =P)

and yes, you can kill horses with ink... you just have to whack them a lot... and they drop leather =P

ooh flutter valley idea! you could make a beacon for the Sunstone hahaha
