Ponies in Unexpected Places
« on: July 19, 2013, 03:53:25 AM »
Last week I was on holiday in Tunisia. I got out of the pool and to my surprise there was a Quick Twilight Sparkle laid on the floor with some other little girls toys! It was the last thing I expected to see there but then again the resort is frequented by a lot of French and Belgian people so it's not totally beyond belief. I couldn't help but wonder if the little girl also had Quick Rarity and could be bribed with ice cream or something lol :P

Have you seen any ponies in strange or unexpected places?

Love, Sarah xx

Somebody must have been throwing out old toys, and I happened to stroll past their garbage bin (Trash can? Why does english have so many words for the same thing? :P ), and saw a couple of familliar hind legs peeking out. Snuck out the pony (trying not to look suspicious) and took her home. I wonder, if I had the bravery to peek more, I would have found more ponies there...

Im sure I once saw a thread about someone finding a G1 pony buried in ground. Probably left there by some kid long ago. It would be so awesome to find a pony literally in the wild.

When I notice someone has put out items next to the trash bins (what I call the giant green trash dumpsters). There's always a tiny hope that I'll find a pony. None so far.

Glad you rescued that pony.

My very vivid imagination now has images of wild MLPs running free through meadows and over hills :P

I actually seem to recall the buried pony story too!

I once found one taped to a chair, does that count? Kids must have played 'save the indian from the cowboys' and then forgot about her. The paper-tape was rather worn and crispy :p
