Ah thanks, yeah I read that.
Basically yes I am rather 'squishy' haha. For once that sounds like it works in my favour :P

I mean the ones I'm looking at have a modesty panel so apparently you can get away with not lacing them up really tight which sounds good.

I've been staring at that site too long as I've found five or so other ones including a few 'fashion' ones I would love to own.

c: That one if I get around to buying it will be easier as it's a 'fashion' corset so I basically just have to buy my normal clothing size.

Hi Starry - I helped my friend measure up for a corset from CorsetsUK about 3 weeks ago and she went for a size 10 in a fashion corset- i was a bit concerned that it would be too small for her  because  I would say shes really a UK size 12 but it looks amazing on her :) The quality was nice too.  I agree you need to go slightly smaller than you are. I have a corset thats now baggy and its a sad, sad item of clothing that just hangs on my wall now!

Oooh though. have you seen the brown leather steampunk ones... they are about £80 :)

Good to know
That's what I was after, they're doing a promo on a bunch of the steampunk stuff they've got because of overstock issues, also have some pretty nifty skirts in there too.

ooh, Im heading over to the corset-uk website to look at the promotion on steampunk corsets then! I have some made to measure, but my shape has changed so much over the last decade having had two babies and gained and lost weight and weight gets redistributed ;) that i wouldnt bother having one made to measure again. Everyones shape changes as they age, even if you dont have kids.  I love corsets. But last time I wore one out I was driving to a gig - and could hardly breath or drive I was laced up that tight!

Starry - you have to post a pic of the one you buy :)
