Ponies in the Bahamas?

I leave for the Bahamas tomorrow and was just wondering if anyone had any advice for thrift shopping or anything? Do they even have ponies in the Bahamas? Ill be staying on paradise island and going into Nassau once or twice for shopping. Anything I should keep an eye out for or definitely go to? Thanks

I just went to Nassau in May and I did not see any ponies. My friends and I only went to the straw market and it's all tourist merchandise there. However, you never know what some of the local toy shops may have? We didn't go into the city (because my friends wanted to stay on the outskirts and drink at Senior Frogs and Sharkeez). I personally would have loved to have gone exploring and do some more shopping! I'd be interested to hear what you find!! Have fun!!

Stay safe!  My husband spent 6 months in the Bahamas -  stick to the more "tourist" locations, especially at night.  There are some really dangerous places there.

But most of all have fun!  One day I long to see that beautiful, clear water of the Caribbean.

Not sure if this is too late, but:
Yes, stay around the touristy areas like the Straw Market, Atlantis & the giant mall (I forget its name). The northern area of the main island is heavily populated with touristy shops and beaches for cruisers.

There are toy shops especially in the ma attached to Atlantis, but I don't recall seeing ponies there...

Anyway, I have a friend who's from there and I've also been there. Nassau is beautiful and I enjoyed it without ponyseeing . Have fun!
