Painted Argie Baby Starbow?

Just today I got my Argie Starbow in the mail, and I noticed something was weird with her. She's MOC, and I'm resistant to opening her, so it's a bit hard for me to tell for sure... but I think she's painted. Has this been seen with Baby Starbow before? I know I've seen this kind of thing with Novia, but I don't recall seeing it with Starbow.

The plastic + light caused some 'lines' to appear, which made her a little tricky to photograph unfortunately. I used my phone for these too, so I can try to take ones with my camera later if needed

Her eyes are super 'neat', not off-centered at all like my other Argie babies who have 'stamped' eyes. There's also no difference at all between the white of her body and the white of her eyes. Her freckles are so faint that I can barely see them, but most of all, at the corners of her feet it looks like her white body color was worn away.

How often does the painted version show up? Is she worth about the same as her non-painted? What other Argies have painted versions (I think I've only seen Novia before now)?

I think the painted version is more common than the non-painted version. I have a loose painted one, and the inside of her body is a cream color. It seems like the Argie factory couldn't get their white ponies to be truly white, so they painted them. Novia has the same thing: painted & non-painted.

There have been quite a few found, so she is normal. The argie bride pony is often painted a pearly white colour

Congrats on getting her! I too was bidding but sadly it ended when I was at work and ebay is blocked She does look painted though.

Aren't there two versions of painted Novia, pearly and non-pearly. Mine is the non- pearly... I'd like to get the pearly Novia too one day

Argie starbow is the most common of painted ponies, I've seen this version of her like 4 times already. Novia is the second one I think, I've seen 3 versions of her, painted, white plastic and white pearly plastic. The less common - I think - is gingerbread, I got a very bad condition argie ginger in one lot (no hair, almost all of her paint was gone) I sold her to someone from here, (If you are there show us some pics!) and this was the only one I've ever seen of a painted ginger. Who knows if there is any other painted argie ponies around there
