I love unusual furniture like this, it has a lot of personality and a story to it. How did you manage to get your hands on this one?

I have tried unsuccessfully twice to get a vintage diner with chrome and red vinyl. And then I came to my senses and realized my cats would be all over that tearing it up! So I got some vintage chrome and vinyl chairs and a red shiny table (now moved to my office), but then I walked into a vintage office store with tons of furniture, and there it was! They had 8 before, but they'd all sold. So we got the last one

It kind of reminds me of my first date a bit..
