Taobao order shipping times?

So about a month ago (May 27th, to be exact) was when I got my tracking number for my first Taobao order. Since then, I've been checking it, and it hasn't updated since June 10th. Apparently it hasn't even left China yet! Should I be worried?

They are not always so good about updating items coming out of China.    It's most likely in the states already going by the date of purchase and might be held up in customs? I am sure it will arrive soon for you.

Ooooh, that's good to know. Thank you! I'm used to single blind bag ponies from China arriving within a couple of weeks, but naturally a large box would take more time, right?

My orders normally arrive within 3-4 weeks. Up how long the Customs hold the parcels.

Just out of curiosity, where have you been tracking it? I had an order that I punched into Hong Kong post's site and they only told me it left China, and than it's like, "We have no idea. Sorry."

I use http://www.packagetrackr.com/ all the time now. It seems to handle international stuff far better.

It also depends on which shipping option you chose. The first two parcels I got I chose Airmail China and it took a month or so, the second two I chose Airmail Hong Kong (one is in the system currently so I can't comment on that) and the first one arrived in two weeks


You know, as a side note.... I have never tracked a package from china, I just left it alone and waited for it to arrive. I've always had a tracking number but for some reason they've never told me a site to check it on.

So thanks to you guys I know of sites to check on now Although one site said it's at the customs hub, which is good. The other said it had expired as it hadn't been updated in 10 days... despite it only being sent 7 days ago lol
I trust it is at the customs hub based on previous experience

I've had them come as quickly as 2 weeks to as long as close to 7 weeks.
