I have a new co-worker who is actually a MLP fan, yay! Someone who gets me on that level! She has all her original G1s including many of the castles/houses still in near mint condition, but is not an active collector. So we had a long chat about pony collecting, and she knows I am always on the lookout for ponies.

Well she was at a garage sale and saw some ponies and scooped up a bag of g3s for $3 for me! and just gave them to me at work one day! how cool is that! She then told me she goes frequently to flea markets and will be on the look out for ponies for me! Yay! I have an extra set of pony eyes!

I did give her a pint jar of homemade strawberry jelly for being so cool in return, but yay!

Lucky!! I have a friend who's into Beanie Babies...at least when we go thrifting together I don't have to worry about her taking my potential ponies! I know that sounded SO selfish!

That's so cool!  Friends who scout flea markets and second-hand shops for you are worth their weight in gold.  I have one who finds me ponies on the odd occasion, and in return I clean/restore any toys she finds for herself.

My bestie in the world goes and finds ponies for me at his Goodwill and stuff... he's so awesome about it. He buys anything he thinks is MLP, even if it isn't (and that's how I wound up with an amazing condition Lady Lovely Locks Silky Mane!) - it's great to have supportive friends in your life!
