German foot question

So I just got a German fading hair Aquamarine/Serena. Why does it look like her patent pending stamp was scraped out with a butter knife? All of my other nirvanas that have smooth scraped stamps do not have clear gouge marks and uneven feet circles. Or am I just freaking out for nothing?
(I should add many other ponies that are missing markings usually look like the molding was filled over and uneven.)

All of my other nirvana's are like that, the melted look. You never know...
Does anybody else have any nirvana's that have scraped out foot stamps? I bought the pony stating that it was scraped out, but I've never heard of this before...

all my germans (all rainbow ponies and 2 sundae bests and 3 big bros) look like they never had a pat pend. the spot is not melted, its just empty. i can post pics as soon as i am back @ home

I've taken a picture of my non-varient German Princess Sparkle's foot. Well, I think she is German because her pat pending stamp has been removed and I bought her from Germany.
Does your Princess Serena's foot look like this or is it more scraped up?

It's really scraped out like yours Sabrina. It's even got some small loose bits of plastic left. Very uneven. There are some deep scratch marks that look like it was scraped with a butter or serrated steak knife, sorry no pics I tried yesterday when I was home, they don't come out clear enough. It's even scraped outside of the foot indent. The pony is quite lovely and from a reputable wonderful seller. Is the pat pend scraped out like this with most german princess ponies? Thanks all!

Oh yeah I see why you are worried.... I'm not really sure. Maybe whoever scraped off the pat pend just did a really messy job? Princess Sparkle is the only non pat pend Princess pony I have so I don't know what other princess ponies feet look like. But I was freaked out when I first got mine because I had only seen the melted off pat pends before. I think it should be ok though because you bought her from a good seller.
Maybe ask Sarah-Bee? She has a thread on pat pend & non pat pend ponies. So maybe she will know more about scraped off pat pend marks?

I re-checked all mine for you and they are all scraped out and some look pretty messy I might add.

the exklusive ones (not just variations) dont got the pat burnd off or scaped out- it is hidden in the mold itself, sometimes visible, sometimes perfect. hm i could post at least 3 variations of nonpatpend..

yes, the rainbows all have very neat hooves were as the princesses got scruffy hooves.

I can see why you are questioning the hoof mark though, just in case some one had doctored her feet.

I am amazed you were worried as you bought the pony from me.
Any pony I say is from Germany came to me by way of Germany.
I have had many German ponies over the years and some are covered over with Body Materials and some have clearly been scrapped out and messy.

Here is the description of that particular Sales Ad and as clearly stated...

"German Release with Fading Pink Hair Princess My Little Pony:
Serena
She is aqua with pink hair (which has faded to white) with gold tinsel.
She has a pink heart shaped medallion with a pink jewel heart.
She has pink eyes.
Marked China. 
This pony is from Germany and the pat pend has been scraped from the foot bottom.
The  eyes and symbols are good with no rubs or scratches.   
No mane or tail cuts or trims that I can tell. 
Hair is soft and mostly faded to white. 
No major marks or stains.
I have not taken her apart, she has not been cleaned inside."

I suggest  from now on if a buyer has a question about a pony you have purchased  you contact the seller before taking it to the forum.  I could have answered your questions and as the ad clearly stated it was "scrapped out"
