This seller is not a pony seller, but since lots of people here have different interests & collections, I thought it was worth posting.

I bought a Teddy Ruxpin book & tape set from wadd5 on eBay. There was a minimal description & the picture cut off the top of the book. When the book arrived the top corner was severely crumpled & all of the pages were damaged, and the pages were coming lose from the spine. I messaged the seller & asked how we could work out this problem. He claimed that it must have happened in shipping (book arrived in a plain yellow envelope with no bubble wrap) even though there's a tiny bit of corner damage visible in the auction picture, and offered to send me a replacement. We're in the same state, so when nothing arrived within a week, I messaged him again. After that he sent out another book. The second one arrived today in worse shape than the first: the cover looks fine but half of the pages are torn off of the binding.  I messaged him again with this:
"Hi,
I received the replacement book today. While I do appreciate you sending a replacement for the first damaged book, I have to say that I'm really disappointed to find the second half of this replacement book is completely separated from its binding. Please see attached pictures. I ship & receive a lot of things, and I don't think this damaged happened during shipping. In the future, you may want to look over your items a bit more before sending them. I'm not asking for any additional replacements or refund. Best regards,"
Then I left neutral feedback: "1st book was damaged; sent replacement, also damaged. Poor attempt to resolve.". It's worth mentioning that he has had multiple neutrals & negatives in the last month.

Shortly after I got this message:
"this book was checked by multiple people why would I send another damaged book, when all I want is to make you happy.. you are damaging my seller dsr. I ask that you revise I paid shipping for t he second book, and didn't ask you to send back damaged. now I would like both sent back and will solve from there"

Umm?? Why would I pay to send anything back at this point? I already said that I don't want any more replacements or refunds. I'm considering this transaction a done deal & a bit of a loss for both him & I.

Then 5 minutes after he sent that message I got an email from eBay for a "keyword spamming" listing violation on one of my items. I have a strong feeling this guy is looking for ways to mess with me, since I've had very similar listings in the past & never had any violation notices.  I blocked him from bidding & further communication.

So, in short, this guy is probably a seller to avoid. :bigups:

Bring it to Ebay's attention that you had no problems and they will look into it. Not saying anything will be done but if it is the same guy that you had a bought something from and he was getting his pants in a wad over it they may remove the warning.

That sounds... unfortunate.  Wow.  I agree with those who said to let eBay be the mediator between you two.  The incidents with your purchased books and "keyword spamming" could be connected, but could be separate too.  I realize you said you didn't want to send the books back, as well as aren't asking for money back; perhaps it's a misunderstanding on his part?  I wish you well.

So seriously, the first book was damaged, so send another damaged book?? And then basically stalk you??

I have to say though Kit it doesn't surprise me, we all know the weirdo's that lurk around on Ebay. I would definitely call ebay though. I had someone report me for "keyword spamming" once because I put Believe in my title. I called ebay and it took me 30 minutes to convince the rep. there is no little pony named or called Believe. Or even a toy line named Believe.  I told her go Google it if you don't believe me. (no pun intended) She finally agreed to put a note on my account in case it ever did get reported again. Anyways I am sure they will help you.
