Indeed she is. Toys really do become friends, sort of, when you've had them for a while and shared a lot of memories with them.

Case looks great after the restoration! I have two cases like that, that are in semi dilapidated condition as well. Makes me want to restore mine.

You totally should!  It's so rewarding when it's finished.  If you decide to do it, I'd love to see the results.

Wonderful tale of a restoration.  This is the kind of article that inspires me to actually try customs or trickier restores because they would be for ME and not for eBay.

Heh, yeah, it's kind of freeing to work without the anxiety of making something perfect and eBay-quality.  Whatever your hobby is, it's nice to do something with it that's purely for your own satisfaction every now and again.

I loved this brag! Even though I had loads of fun finding my old childhood ponies, it was nothing to this! I'm very envious on that pony case I only had a small one, and that got lost years ago. It didn't even manage to hold my most faved ponies
