I third the patience and a sharp knife for removing G4 neck plugs. I think that's why I like the FS ones - they have regular neck plugs like the G3 and G1s do.

Someone please tell me, is it actually possible to remove the neck plug without piercing the neck somewhere?! 

ohh, i know! this may sound silly, but do you pour hot water over them before you start beheading them? i also let them sit in a bowl of hot water for a while. it makes it easier to pull the head off and then i poke with a nail-file around the plug. you have to move the nailfile from left to right, because its not a sharp as a knive, but it works! i already prepped 8 g4 with that method and none had a hole. ^^
i also slippen once and was soo glad it was just a nailfile! otherwise, i would have sliced the complete inner sinde where the index finger is on the hand. O-O

Stupid finger! I do everything in batches and now I've reached my rehairing stage. After rehairing 5 FS G4s and 3 filly G4s in 3 days my finger finally gave in and started bleeding. I have 20+ ponies to go!

Yeah....I can still rehair with a bandaged finger though. I think I'll finish up the 3 ponies left on my table (1 FS, 2 fillies) but tomorrow will be a painting/sewing day I think.

You need patience, a sharp knife, and some more patience.

I had a sharp knife... G4 Luna broke it xD And Rarity snapped a blade before that..
I think I'm getting better at it.
But I still say these G4's are plotting to kill me.

Gluing the head back on the pony for a personal trade, and didn't notice I got glue on my finger tip. Which then got on the pony, and pulled paint off when I removed my finger. In the cutie mark area, no less! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

My custom issues right now are trying to learn sculpting but not really sure where to start, having difficulty with shaking hands from fibro, and having trouble with feeling well enough to do them all at once. 

I have a lot of customs done, just need to get hair for them, which I am ordering this week finally, but then I will be able to finish them up (yay!). 

Also, I am trying to figure out what colors to use for some MH customs.  I need to rehair them first, but I don't know what colors I want, so I can't figure out what I want to do with them (ideas please? I have a Robecca and a Skelita)

Skelita needs a color changing hair or two.  I mixed GITD with a thermal.  Way cool!!  I wonder if Shannon would blend those...

That sounds like a gorgeous combination for both ponies andMH!  I think I have an idea for a new project. :3

My latest anger issues are not with my customs, but rather myself.

I've been having a lot of stomach problems that I'm trying to deal with. I clearly have some intolerance to something in my current diet. 

But all this feeling under the weather has been horrible for me getting work done on my customs. I just need to get final approval on one commission and she can be in the mail. And then I have a private swap pony, and two other commissions to work on.

right now... ponies randomly getting sticky... no idea why, I seal them with the same stuff, the same way, over the same brand paint, and some are slightly tacky, when others, sealed on the same day, are beautifully bone dry and smooth.
