eBay problem

Hey,

I am having issues with eBay again.  A seller bought a video game from me and payed promptly. I shipped his game out.

Well, the auction ended on Tuesday and he agreed to wait for it to be shipped on Friday. I get a message from him today telling me to cancel his order because he found one cheaper.

I called eBay and they tend to side with sellers when buyer's remorse comes into play, but there is always that chance they may open a claim saying item not as described.

I honestly cannot afford to give him a refund. The money from those items want to bills which are already paid. He'd have to wait until next payday to get his money back, and that's not gonna fly with him I'm sure.

What he did was rude and stupid. I actually got a little snippy with him and I hope that doesn't work against me. I was just so annoyed by this.

Thank I'm safe in that situation? I don't want my first negative.

If it is already shipped, tough noogies. Ebay will not side with him for buyers remorse and you have the messages to prove that is exactly what it is.

 I would simply tell him that the game has already been shipped and there is not much you can do about it.  I would also point out that you have been in touch with ebay regarding the matter. Hopefully that will keep him from trying any funny business.  I would just remain polite and stick to your guns.

I am sorry but that is just ridiculous. I can't believe these buyers.  I can't say you wouldn't get a negative since a buyer can leave whatever feedback they want, but hopefully ebay would remove it under the circumstances.  I agree that all you can do is just say you are sorry but his item has already been shipped and the order can't be cancelled at this point in the sale.

Update!

The seller received the item and said he'd take no further action.

I did call eBay prior and they said they won't take his side if it's buyer's remorse. 

Thank goodness this all worked out in the long run. If I had to refund him I don't know how I'd do it.
