Most uncommon G1 pony color Your Thoughts

As a matter of fact, the Italian "Jenny" is actually a Peachy. 3 brown ponies, uniqueness by name?

A few more green ponies would be Icey, Salty, Leaper and Ribbs. Actually, there's LOADS of green ponies, even more if you get into the nirvanas.

I always thought of Whirly Twirl and Countdown as red, but I suppose they're a bit pinkish. Including Nirvanas, I guess that bright red Fresita piggy is the rarest (and isn't she stunning).

More bold colour ponies would have been great. I'd like a black CP pony with pastel rainbow hair (one day I will make one!)

I'd say red for every pony line. Most 'red' ponies tend to be leaning towards the pink line rather than just plain red. In fact the only red character in the G1 toy line i can think of is one of the princess dragons

I was reading all of the posts and was wondering why no one mentioned Dutch Diary her color. But I'm happy to see her getting mentioned in the last post

she definitely has an amazing blue color, the only dark blue pony there is.

Medley green...really? I always think she has that slight bluish blend in her because some people describe her as "blue" in their auctions, so it really depends on how you perceive her colour.

Glow and Show ponies and sparkle ponies have a 'unique' thing going on with how they are made so their colors are not exactly the same as other ponies.

Assuming we are ignoring black, I agree with red There are no regular release red ponies and only the one nirvana which could be considered a proper red - every other shade has purple or blue tones though it

But grey and brown are very close behind and really only due to nirvana releases are they more common than a proper solid red.

So I've been checking back on this thread, confused as to why no one has mentioned Big Macintosh yet, before I realized that this is the G1 pony thread. But that is a point though, I can't think of any other reds except him, G3 Applejack, the red dragon, and the piggie. It seems odd to me that they would not often use that color as much.
