Columbus Ohio Pony Happenings ???

So I just had three friends/family members tell me about a pony related event this weekend in Columbus Ohio that I had no idea about.  Sadly, it is over and I missed it.  Anybody know what it was?  And how I can stay up to date on this?

I knew that there was a gaming convention downtown called Origins because my family always goes and works during that but never heard any pony related news.

Are there any collectors clubs in this area where people might want to get together for a trade party?  I am mostly into G1 and G4 but have amassed a 15-20 pony collection of G3s that I would be willing to trade along with duplicates from the other gens.  Mostly, I would just adore having pony friends IRL.

We have Ohio pony meets in August in Cincinnati, Ohio, and I know there's some events throughout Ohio. You just missed TrotCon. Cincinnati had a pony con in Sharonville a few weekends ago.
