Sorry that I was wrong, feel kind of like an idiot.I've seen "white flower" Poseys being sold as variants/nirvanas before so I might've just been confused. But I have heard of variants being considered nirvanas because the whole nirvana name comes from a higher state, so nirvanas are a higher state of collecting (beyond normal ponies).
UK and Euro ponies aren't considered Nirvanas.

However, for some people others are a bit of a grey area and its why you will find posts for ponies like Baby Hopscotch or Lavender Woosie in either Nirvana or the Corral. Some people consider these ponies Nirvana and some don't. For me which way people go is a personal decision. Technically as nirvana covers "variant" of regular release ponies then I can understand why some ponies like the German princesses and others fall in there but for me others seem just like a regular release and due to rarity and the fact they were only released in a couple of Euro countries does not make them Nirvana, at least for me
