G3.5 TV Series?

I remember reading somewhere that back in 2009, there was a g3.5 series in the works. Seeing people's opinions on TWA, I don't think it would be too successful, but it would be really nice if they did that.

I think they would have had to dramatically improve it in comparison to the movies/shorts which they produced for G3.5 to be honest. Sometimes things are better left alone and for me G3.5 as a tv season would probably not have been a runaway success

It would have been turned down by bronies for sure-well, if there was no G4, there would be no bronies. I myself became a fan during the G3.5 era and I remeber the core 7 in stores...

Well as there were no bronies at the time of G3.5 I doubt they would have factored large in whether or not a series was popular at the time

I kind of wish there had been a series. If there had, then maybe there would have been background characters, and then it could have led to more toys. I like G3.5's, but my biggest problem with the line is the core 7 monopoly on the toys. Sure, we got some mom characters as toys.....but they didn't even get real names. A TV series could have changed that.

It would have been an success had Hasbro backed off on the generation like they did with g4.

The reason I'm so certain of this is because Tinkle Wish Adventure was the best of the g3.5 story lines from my point of view.

They went back to a g3 art style with Pinkie Pie's Special Day and Rainbow Dash's Special Day after the Newborn Cuties direct to home videos.

I think it would have been have been really good. With the strong personalities each pony has in the core 7, it could have been a ,lot like G4 is. One reason I'm not too keen on G4 is that there are too many ugly boy ponies with beards, pimples, etc, so seeing the background character designs in G3.5, I realize that I'd really like it. It's a good fanfiction, a core 7 series.
Oh, and why is Flitter Flutter in TWA when she was taken out of stock four years previously and was only a Target exclusive???

I'm not really a big fan of G3.5,but young kids seemed to love TWA so I'm sure it would of been a hit. However,I doubt it would appeal to many people (other than us ) over the age of seven!
