Could you identify a fakie from description?
« on: June 11, 2013, 08:17:51 PM »
I'm a kenner LPS person, not a MLP person, but I have MLP question.

My quite-a-bit-older sister had a few G1, so my just-a-little-bit-older sister and I inherited them, and a fakie. The fakie was green, and pretty, with a colourful blanket (part of the plastic) and it was the 'special' one to us when we were little. I wish I could find out more about it!

The MLP ponies we had were I think bow tie? and an all pink one, maybe cotton candy or something? and there was another one I think... hmm.

Anyway we also had two fakies, an all-brown one and a aqua green one. They were both more lean and less chubby and round than the normal G1 MLP, with smaller heads, more horse-like proportions. The aqua-green one had a sort of rainbow patterned blanket across her back. I think the mane and tail was rainbow colored. It wasn't little, it was about the size of the G1 MLP, but just less round and chubby, more horse-like.

If anyone knows any possible candidates and could send some pictures links that would be cool :)

Welcome to the MLP side!

I'm not a fakie expert but there are a few fakie sites with pictures you can browse though like Fakie Hideout and the Fabulous Fakie Guide. Hopefully those help in your search!

EDIT: Is this your blanket back aqua pony? Scroll down a bit for pics.

Oh wow! Those circus fakies are pretty nice! The green one is really pretty! I seldomly see cute fakies with good looking hair and color schemes! I have fakies of the circus ponies with glass eyes, nearly not as cute!
Thanks to calico star for my avatar!

Those are cute fakies!  That's the kind I customized for my baby cousin--they have a wonderful mold.  Mine was a less-than-nice combo of neon orange, red, white, and green.

The mother there. I'm pretty sure that's the one, though could this one in the picture have faded hair colour?
To be sure I'd need to look at the pony again, if it is still around! It is either at my parents' place or was given to one of my nieces. But I'm almost totally certain that is the one. Thanks guys!
