Neutral Feedback Revision - Ebay
« on: June 11, 2013, 06:51:17 PM »
Last week I bought three blind bag ponies (I'm new to BB's but like the look of the boys so chose three as a start) from a chinese seller. Their feedback was mostly good but some people complained of the size of them (I figured they're blind bags, they're not huge).

Anyway when I got them, one of them was the correct pony but the other two were wrong. I wasn't too annoyed though because they were cheap and one of them was Rainbow Dash and I had her on my watch list anyway. But I left neutral feedback for them and they replied saying they were very sorry and would send the right ones to me if I could please revise my feedback. I replied saying I would be very happy to once I got the replacements.

They've sent "revised feedback requests" but I'm not sure what to do with them... Do I wait until I get the correct ponies? Or do I revise it and then wait for the ponies? I'd prefer to wait but I wasn't sure if they'd send them until I've revised it? They haven't said I need to send the wrong ones back in order to get the replacements, and ideally I don't want to, because then I'm out of pocket, I'd rather just pay for these and keep them.

Thanks for any help!

Definitely wait til you have the ponies in hand, and let them know you'll be doing that.

I would have contacted the seller before leaving any type of feedback if you are not happy. That's really not fair to not give the seller a chance to make it right.

It's always a good rule of thumb to contact your seller first before you leave feedback. I know there are horror stories out there with the seller not responding or willing to work things out. But most sellers are willing if you give them a chance to rectify the situation, such as it seems in this situation.

As for the revised feedback I would wait till the replacements arrive. I would message them back and let them know that you are more than happy to revise it once the replacements arrive. I am sure they will understand. Also since you are worried about the extra BB's, I would maybe make mention that you are wondering what you should do about them? I have a feeling they will probably tell you to go ahead and keep them.  But that way you will know and do not have to feel guilty about having them.

Thanks for your replies. I'll definitely contact the seller first before leaving feedback. I feel really bad now!
