Should we have G4 books in the Coming Soon thread?

This has got to be the most straight forward polls I have ever created on here I think we need more straight forward yes/nos.

I was just looking for thoughts and opinions on something.

Unfortunately due to hot linking the Out Now/Coming Soon thread is on a 24 hour revamp until I sort out new links. But while I have been doing that today and now that the comics and trading cards are updated in there, I wondered whether we should also keep track of the G4 books which have come out or will be coming out?

So what do you think? Yes, its something you like to keep track of and would be interested to see whats coming soon. Or no, its not something that particularly interests you? Or some other thoughts!?

I voted no only because there are going to be so many that they may be as common as misc merchandise.

However, I think if you wanted to add very specific books, like the chapter books since those are unique stories, and the blind bag collector's book because that has to do with collecting specifically (and comes with Tealove), that could work! Even the episode guide that just came out, since it's so extravagant.

Maybe I should have voted yes after all.

I don't have any interest in tracking any of the early reader books. Collector guides and such might be good to have in just given the nature of the thread. The chapter books seem pretty easy to keep track of on their own. Books that come with ponies could be grouped with the appropriate merch./pony type (BB collector guide with the BB/mini figure releases because of Tealove, maybe the Busy Book figures with other merch. ?). I personally don't think it's really necessary to have a books section unless you are planning to expand the list to also include things like comics, magazines, dvd releases, and other media.
edit: just realized you already are adding comic and trading card stuff...

I voted yes, but it's kind of a yes/no.

It took me forever to look up release info the other day for the new FiM guidebook and the still unreleased mini blind bag book, so that would have been nice to have in the thread.

On the other hand, the Busy Books and small chapter books that come with the big standee cards don't seem like quite the right fit for the thread.  That and I wouldn't mind looking up info for those elsewhere if I ever needed to.

Maybe certain books over a particular age...?

I would say yes because some of the books come with merchandise in the form of cards or blind bags. There might be other stuff in the future as well

I am interested in this but like others have said i would perfer to see guide book, chapter books, and even the comic books could go on a book coming soon thread. That way the other thread has one less thing and all book or comic book are together.
