Has anyone rehaired a hasbro fairy tail bird before?
« on: August 05, 2013, 07:16:33 PM »
I see a lot of fairy tail birds on ebay that have really damaged or cut hair. They don't have a neck seam like ponies do. I wonder if you'd have to pop out the circle their feet are attached to, but I don't know if that would be really hard to do without damaging their feet or bodies. Has anyone got any ideas or tips or this subject? Thank you, ponies friends!

I was just reading a thread the other day and people had rehaired them. Not sure what forum it was in though. Maybe the corral?

I've done one.  The feet pop off and you can reach the head and tail holes quite easily.  I recommend heating the plastic first because the base where the feet are is really solidly in place.

Yep, pop the feet out (you can cut but be careful) and whala! Easy peasy!
