My little pony TE in comics
« on: May 24, 2013, 07:41:42 AM »
This is an intresting discovery I just made about the G1 comics.
I was on Lancer's site ad was viewing all the issues up to 79(as it stopped there) and I noticed something about the TE ponies. It seems that Gingerbread made about 15 or more appearances and so did Masquerade, both characters of which seldom appeared in the cartoon, while Galaxy only appeared twice, both quite small appearances.
Here is a story which focuses on each character in the TE set.
GINGERBREAD'S BAKING DAY

One day Gingerbread decided to give her little pony friends a special treat...

She got out her special recipe book and looked into it. "What shall I make today?" she said to herself.

Suddenly the baby ponies peeped through the door. "Can we help you bake?" they asked.

"Yes, but you must measure out everything very carefully," said Gingerbread. The babies nodded.

"You can make some lovely butterfly cakes for Flutterbye," she said to Baby Glory.

"We will make some gingerbread ponies," she said to Baby Applejack. "Can we make some plum and apple jam tarts too?" the baby pony asked eagerly. "If you like...but don't get too sticky," Gingerbread laughed.

Gingerbread put on a special pair of gloves to protect her hooves. "I'll bake the cakes," she said. "Ovens are hot!"

When they were cooked, Gingerbread put them on the windowsill to cool. "When can we eat them?" asked Baby Glory.

"When you've washed your dirty dishes," laughed Gingerbread. "Come on, it won't take you long!"

"Heavy hooves, I hate washing up!" cried Baby Applejack. "I hate drying dishes!" sighed Baby Glory.

"Pony feathers, someone's stealing my plum and apple jam tarts!" cried Baby Applejack. "That's very naughty...whoever can it be?" "I don't know...but we'll soon find out," replied Gingerbread looking very cross.

Gingerbread sang: "Apple tart now glows, and glows, Fasten to the bad thief's nose!"

"Look out of the window and tell me what you see," she cried. "The Knave of Hearts...with a tart on his nose!"

The ponies went out. "I didn't mean to be naughty...but I do love jam tarts!" cried the knave of hearts.

"Then it shall stay there until the next time the moon turns blue to remind you," cried Gingerbread.

Gingerbread invited everyone to tea and told them about the missing jam tart. "But there's still plenty left," she said. "I'm sure you'll find everything tastes lovely...I put a pinch of moondust in the mixture to make sure they were light enough!"
That is one with gingerbread in.

Sorry, I only got one in. Here is a Sweet Stuff story.
THE PECULIAR POPPYKETTLE

"Happy hooves, it was a lovely idea of yours to have a Valentine Party here, Love Melody," chuckled Sweetie.

"The decorations look really pretty," called Sky Rocket, as she looked around the lounge. "And I've finished all the party invitations. Won't everyone be surprised when Locket delivers them? I think she's here now." The little pony hurried outside...

"Whatever's that?" gasped Sky Rocket, as she stared at something floating around in the swimming pool.

"Love Melody! Sweetie! Come here," called Sky Rocket urgently. "Do hurry, it might disappear before you've time to see it."

The three ponies walked slowly around the edge of the swimming pool. "It looks like a teapot," said Sweetie. "A huge teapot with a heart-shaped sail." "It's a ship," said Sky Rocket, "and there's someone on the deck. He's got a rope in his hands."

"Could one of you catch this rope and tie it around one of the pillars?" called the captain. "I'll catch it," said Sweetie.

"I'll tie the rope," said Love Melody. "I'm good at making knots, I have to tie lots of ribbons on my love hearts."

"Is the rope secure?" the captain asked. "Good, I'm coming ashore." He jumped neatly off the deck and landed next to Love Melody. "Ahoy there," he said politely, touching his hat. "I'm looking for the Party Pony who sings." "That's me," sang Love Melody.

"I've sailed my poppykettle over land and sea to get here," the captain said. "I've got a very special message for you."

"Have you come from the Land of Heart's Desire?" asked Sweetie. "Is the message from our friend, Dame Dimity?"

"It is," beamed the captain. "Dame Dimity would like the Party Pony to bring all the little ponies to visit her. Look..."

"She wants me to give a Valentine Party in the Land of Heart's Desire," said Love Melody, reading the invitation card.

"We can still send our invitation cards to everyone," said Skyrocket. "We can start the party here then..."

"Then I will send for all my poppykettles," laughed the captain. "They will sail you over land and sea to Dame Dimity."

"Locket should be here soon," said Sky Rocket. "she is going to deliver all these invitations. You see, our Valentine Party was going to be a surprise party starting at three o'clock this afternoon. Now it will be a double surprise!"

Just then, Locket hurried in. "I'm sorry I'm late," she said. "Do you know there is a peculiar ship in the swimming pool?"

Love Melody introduced the captain to Locket and told her about the invitations from Dame Dimity.

"You'd better hide the poppykettle," said Locket, "then the little ponies won't see it when they arrive."

Locket hurried away to deliver the party invitations and Captain Mouse and Sky Rocket hid the poppykettle.

Later that day, the little ponies chattered excitedly as a fleet of poppykettles sailed them over land and sea to the Land of Heart's Desire. They could hardly wait to see their old friend, Dame Dimity. It was the best Valentine's Day they'd ever had!
This is from no.64.

Here is a Masquerade one.MASQUERADE AND THE FLY BY KNIGHTS

One evening as Masquerade was returning from a party given by the Star Sprites who lived at the top of the Milky Way, she saw what seemed like a flock of birds flying overhead.
"Time all birds were fast asleep," she called with a chuckle.
"We're not birds, we're the Fly By Knights and we're looking for Dream Castle," replied a voice.
As the flock drew closer Masquerade saw that they were indeed Knights, dressed in shining armour, with wings protruding from their sides so that they could fly.
"Why do you want to find Dream Castle?" asked Masquerade. She thought these winged Knights seemed very strange...and she felt that they might not be welcome visitors in Pony Land.
"Clanking mail and shining swords, we're looking for Spike of course," replied one knight, dropping down beside Masquerade.
"Spike will probably be asleep by now...he needs his sleep," protested Masquerade. "Besides, strangers can't enter Dream Castle without the magic password...so you will have to wait until morning to see Spike. What do you want to see him for?"
"To challenge him to fight," declared the knight. "He's the only dragon we haven't fought yet!"
"You mustn't fight Spike...he's a very friendly dragon...he's our own special Pony Land pet!" cried Masquerade. "Majesty will be very cross if you harm Spike! Go away, we don't want you here!"
But the knight just laughed rudely. "We'll just wait until morning...and then, just tell Spike to watch out," he cried. "It's fun fighting dragons!"
"I must try and help Spike...he is such a little dragon! He won't stand a chance against all those horrid knights," sighed Masquerade to herself as she hurried away towards Dream Castle, leaving the Fly By Knights practising their swordplay for the morning.
Masquerade quickly woke Majesty and told her all about the unwelcome visitors and their plans to challenge Spike to a fight.
"We mustn't tell Spike...it would only frighten him," said Majesty. "I'll weave a strong sleeping spell so that it will all be over before he wakes up."
"What will be over?" asked Masquerade. "Can't you just wave your horn and send those horrid knights away?"
"Yes, I could...but they would only come back another day," explained Majesty. "So, we must provide them with a dragon to fight, a very special dragon..."
"But who...if Spike's asleep and Drago the sea dragon is away visiting the Treasure Isle? There isn't another dragon!"
"Oh, pony feathers, yes there is...you!" cried Majesty. "We will make you a really good dragon suit and you will fight the Fly By Knights...with a little help from your friends...remember...the knights have never seen Spike!"
"Heavy hooves, Majesty, I can't fight knights, I'm only a little pony," protested Masquerade. "And suppose they recognise me?"
"I promise you that they won't, you, I and the other little ponies will teach those naughty Fly By Knights a lesson," promised Majesty.
And next morning Sir Silversword, the knights' leader and his flying knights found a dragon waiting for them in Dream Castle meadows.
"My, you are a brave little dragon, aren't you?" sneered Sir Silversword. "Hey, stop that!" he shouted as Masquerade through out a fireball that Firefly had made for her. "It nearly melted my sword. I thought dragons breathed fire...not threw fire balls!"
"You'll be surprised what this dragon can do," muttered Masquerade, from beneath the pink scales which Majesty had made for her.
As another Fly By Knight approached, a large gingerbread cake came out of Masquerade's mouth...and flew right on the end of the knight's sword. It was the first time Gingerbread had made a really heavy cake!
"I can't fight a dragon with this sword, it's useless," the knight complained.
"What's happened to my sword...? It's too cold to hold," cried another Fly By Knight, as he dropped his sword.
"Happy hooves, Powder's cold spell worked really well," laughed Masquerade as the two knights flew off. "Now there's only one left, besides the Champion Knight. I'm sure I can get rid of those!"
And she did...with Twilight's help!
"Look, the stars are out...it's time to fly away, this Dream Castle dragon is too clever for us...fancy being able to turn day into night," cried Sir Silversword.
"Not only day into night, but knights into flight," laughed Majesty. "Well done Masquerade. Oh, good morning, Spike, have you had a good sleep?"
"I must have had a long sleep," muttered the little dragon. "Look, the stars are out...hey, no, they're not...they've disappeared and the sun's shining again! What's going on?"
"Nothing, now," laughed Masquerade. "Pony feathers, I am hot in this dragon suit. Now I know what Spike must feel like...I'm glad I'm a little pony and not a dragon!"
"Yes, but you made a very brave dragon, I was proud of you," said Majesty gently.
Masquerade was brave...and clever too...wasn't she?

:) The UK comics are awesome for allowing characters and ponies which do not get a lot of attention in other ways have their own stories.

Thank you for sharing the story you enjoyed - I love it!

Sorry about not finishing the post, I was busy through the day.
here is one featuring both Galaxy and Whizzer. I couldn't really find any good Whizzer comics, so I decided this would be best.
THE MAGIC TELESCOPE

"The Star-maker has given me his old telescope," said Galaxy. "Let's have a midnight party on Candy Mountain." It was Midsummer's night - a night of fun and magic.

"It's really breezy up here!" laughed Skyflier. "Look how high my kite is." "It's almost on the moon!" called Galaxy.

"Oh, I wish I could make it fly even higher," said Skyflier. Gusty giggled silently, then blew very hard.

Suddenly, Skyflier disappeared into the sky. "Heavy hooves! I've blown her away," wailed Gusty. "I can't see her anywhere," said Galaxy, peering through the telescope. "Let me look," suggested Gypsy. "I can see further than you." Twilight made some stars.

"I can't see Skyflier, but I can see a stairway of stars and moonbeams leading up to the sky," said Gypsy. "It's just behind the old sugar plum tree." Gusty sighed, "The tree is miles away." "No, I know a short cut," said Galaxy. "Follow me."

Before long, the ponies arrived at the sugar plum tree. "Where's the stairway?" asked Sparkler.

The telescope nudged Gypsy. "I think it wants me to look through it again," she said.

As soon as Gypsy looked through the telescope she saw the stairway, right in front of them. "Skyflier and Whizzer are right at the top of it!" she cried. The other ponies couldn't see the stairway at all...not even when they looked through the telescope.

"Why don't they come down the stairway?" asked Sparkler. "They can't see it," said Gypsy. "And they're stuck!"

"I'm going to climb the stairway!" said Gusty. "It's my fault Skyflier's up there. Tell me where to put my hooves, Gypsy."

Gusty listened carefully and put her hooves just where Gypsy told her to. It did feel strange climbing up the sky!

At last, she reached her friends. "Gusty! How did you get here?" asked Whizzer. "The kite string's tied around us."

"I came up a stairway that only Gypsy could see when she looked through the telescope," explained Gusty, as she untied her friends. "How can Skyflier and I get down? You can fly, Whizzer, but I can't see the stairway and I can't hear Gypsy now."

"I've caught a wishing star!" shouted Whizzer. "I'll wish you down." And far below them, the telescope chuckled.

The ponies were glad to see Skyflier and Gusty. But not even Gypsy could see the stairway. Midsummer's night was over!
Hope you enjoy it!!

And now, presenting...FIZZY!!! Who couldn't like her?
Here is the first comic featuring Fizzy, from issue 38. I don't know why they introduced Fizzy into the comic so long after the origin story of the TE ponies.
Here it is...
FIZZY AND THE FUNNY FROG

Fizzy was hurrying to join her friends when suddenly she slipped on a patch of ice. "Help! I can't stop," she called.

"Gruesome growls! You trod on my tail," barked Brandy. "What a clumsy pony you are, you're always slipping on something."

"Yes, you almost bent my tail when you sat on it, yesterday," roared Spike. "It still feels peculiar!"

"Do you remember when you fell into my barrel of apples?" laughed Applejack. "You even got one stuck on your horn!" "I can't help being clumsy," sighed Fizzy. "I'll try to walk on tip-hooves." Poor Fizzy didn't see Baby Surprise's balloon until she trod on it.

"Oh, that was my new balloon!" cried Baby Surprise. "I got it from the pixie pedlar a few minutes ago."

"I'm sorry," Fizzy nuzzled the baby pony. "I'll go and find him and get you another one." "He went that way," said Brandy.

Fizzy hurried out of the courtyard. She hadn't gone far when she heard a strange noise. "Hic! Hic!" Then she heard giggling and laughter. "Something's in this ditch," she muttered. She peeped down and saw lots of little goblins. They were laughing at a frog.

"We bought him some fizzy pop from the pixie pedlar," giggled the goblins, when they saw Fizzy. "And now..."

"Hic! Hic!" croaked the frog loudly. "Now I've got hiccups." "We just can't make him stop," chuckled the goblins.

"It's not kind to laugh at him!" Fizzy said. The goblins stopped laughing and suddenly the frog gave an enormous hiccup.

The hiccup made Fizzy jump so much that she fell into the ditch. "Leaping legs!" shouted the frog in dismay.

Fizzy and the frog landed with a bump. "You clever pony!" called the goblins. "You've stopped his hiccups."

"They're right. You have," croaked the frog. "I'm so glad you bumped into me. Fanciful frogs, you're marvellous."

"I'm clumsy," sighed Fizzy. "and I pop balloons." "I'll turn the fizzy pop into an unpoppable balloon," said the frog. "I'm a magic frog." He croaked a few words and the bottle turned into a beautiful balloon. "A reward for being clumsy," laughed the funny frog.
That's it. Are there any other ponies you would like to see in the comic? I know a story for nearly every one.
Well, this teaches kids that if you're clumsy, find a wishing frog who will clumsy-proof the world for you.

I find that story odd an cute too. It's simple, but the plot is easily seen.
I like it that Fizzy is so clumsy.

Yes, every pony had magic abilities, as we'll see next.
Due to the controversy surrounding Wind Whistler's comic personality, I thought it would be a good idea to share some Movie Star pony stories with you guys.
Here is our first comic, which is a Buttons comic, but it also has North Star in, who I will be posting a separate story about later.
 THE HAUNTED HILL

"You'll have to stay indoors for a few days, Buttons," said Cotton Candy. "Your leg is very swollen, you must rest it."

Cotton Candy picked some large leaves from one of her special herb plants and wrapped them round Buttons' leg. "That feels much better already," sighed Buttons. "Thank you very much!" Just then, a little pixie came in. "I need to see the Pony Land nurse," he said.

"My friend has...has hurt his leg," explained the pixie. "He can't walk at all. Please could you come to him?"

"Of course I will," said Cotton Candy. "Buttons, North Star will stay here with you. Take these sugar lumps at lunch time."

When Cotton Candy and the pixie had left, North Star looked round thoughtfully. "What did that pixie want?" she asked Buttons. "Something is wrong. I'm sure that toadstool he was carrying was from the Haunted Hill. Let's see if my compass can tell us."

North Star sighed as the compass finger whirled round. "Look what happens when I put it over where the pixie walked!"

"He must have come from the Haunted Hill," said Buttons. "And he's taking Cotton Candy back with him. What will happen?"

"If Cotton Candy treads on a doom daisy, she'll turn into a ghost and haunt the hill," North Star spoke grimly. "We must go after her." "The pixie took some of these leaves," said Buttons. "We'll take some." "They're magic speedwell," gasped North Star, when they went outside.

"Compass, show us a short cut to Haunted Hill!" commanded North Star. "We'll get there before the pixie, he must have hidden his magic speedwell in his hat. It won't work as quickly as ours," she explained to Buttons. "Ours is working too well," panted Buttons.

North Star landed at the foot of the hill just as Cotton Candy and the pixie arrived. "I didn't know they were doom daisies," wept the pixie. "We were walking past them when my friend turned into the toadstool. Some voices told me to fetch the Pony Land nurse..."

"Witch Hazel will bring your friend back and dissolve the doom daisies," Cotton Candy said. "There, the hill isn't haunted now! Buttons, you must go home and rest your leg." "Extra speed," said the pixie, giving Buttons the magic speedwell, "and thank you, pony nurse."
This is the infamous 'doom daisy' story. They actually recycled it in issue 212, which I have.Shame it's so short.

Now, (drum roll) a Wind Whistler story!! There are actually loads of Wind Whistler comics, but I think the story I chose is a good description of comic Wind Whistler. It's also quite a funny story.
Will'o the Wisps are based on an old legend about a sprit called will'o the wisp who haunted the swamps of the SW US. Wispswere burning pieces of straw.
Okay, here we go.
WIND WHISTLER AND THE WANDERING WILL O'THE WISPS

Wind Whistler sang this merry little tune as she skipped happily between the blossom-laden trees in the wood.
"Here we go gathering nuts in May, nuts in may, nuts in May!"
"I've never seen nuts in May, they grow in autumn," scoffed Squeak Squirrel as he nibbled one of his beechmast which he had just found in the hollow oak where he had stored it last winter.
"Pony feathers, the song used to say knots in May, meaning sprays of blossom," explained Cotton Candy who had just come from sprinkling the baby rabbits with spring syrup. "Listen, what's that buzzing sound? Surely the bees aren't here already?"
"No, it's lots of little fairies...dressed in yellow and brown jerseys, just like the humble bees," cried Wind Whistler. "Who are you?"
"Well, we're not bees," snapped an older fairy who was the leader. "We're not fairies either! We're wisps... something quite different! And not ordinary wisps either... we're wandering will o'the wisps!"
"And so you've just wandered into Pony Land?" giggled Wind Whistler, panting hard and giving a silly little whistle.
"Does everyone make jokes like that?" muttered Willo crossly. "We wandered... because we do wander... we never go straight to a place, that's why it takes us so long to get anywhere... to see if someone in Pony Land could help me!"
Wind Whistler blushed. "I'm sorry," she said softly. "What can we do to help you?"
"Well, as you can see, there are lots and lots of us wisps," said Willo. "And we live in many different places. But once a year we gather for the GRAND WILLO GATHERING. Sometimes this is the only day that some wisps see each other. The air wisps fly down from the sky, the earth wisps meet the sea wisps who come from the depths of the waves. Oh, it is a lovely meeting... but..."
"But what?" asked Wind Whistler, as a large tear ran down the nose of the Chief Wisp.
"It has become impossible to let everyone know when the meeting is," sighed Willo. "By the time my wandering messengers have found the place I sent them to, the wisps have moved on somewhere else. I don't think we will be able to hold our meeting in Dream Meadows now. I was so pleased when Majesty said we were welcome to come... only so many of my wisps don't know where to go!"
"Heavy hooves, what a pity," agreed Wind Whistler. "What you need is something that everyone will realise is a meeting summons. Wait, I have an idea!" Suddenly a tiny golden whistle appeared above Willo's head.
Wind Whistler found a strong blade of grass and fastened the whistle to it before placing the whistle around the Chief Wisp's neck.
"Now blow it," she ordered.
Willo the Wisp put it to his lips. As he blew a little song came out:
"Wisps, wisps, hear my call,
It is meant for you all,
Come to Dream Meadows sweet,
To join in our yearly treat."
And through the air they came, wisps large and small, from land, sea and air, all heading towards Dream Meadows.
"Hurry, or they'll get there before you," laughed Wind Whistler. "Take my magic whistle as a gift and it will send out a message to your wisps anytime, no matter where you are! Off you go and please, Willo, just once, hurry ... and don't be a wandering wisp!"
"We'll fly like the swallows," laughed Willo happily. "Thank you, Wind Whistler for my lovely whistle. I will use it to speak to all my wisps... and I'll send messages to you, too... on my talking, singing whistle!"
And he did... but that's another story!
Maybe this will settle the wind Whistler controversy.

Now, North Star. There are so many other North star comics that I decided I'll post my favorite here.
THE SUMMER SUNBEAM SPRITES

"Heavy hooves, it's raining again!" cried Baby Tiddly Winks. "Will it ever stop?" "We can't go out again," said the babies.

At the Show Stable Lemon Drop was feeling just as cross. "We'll never be able to hold the Summer Show!" she snorted. "Just look at the course... it's all waterlogged!" "My flowers have all been battered down with the rain," sighed Posey.

"Why doesn't the sun shine?" asked Spike. "It is summer!" "Because the Sunbeam Sprites haven't arrived," Majesty said.

"They should have arrived by now," Majesty continued. "Unless they do, Summer can never begin!"

"Something must have happened," said Majesty. "North Star, please go and find them. They should have left Spring!"

"Start first near Spring Bower. We will watch you through our magic mirror... but take care!"

Away went North Star while Majesty and the others returned to Dream Castle. "Gather round," said Majesty.

"There's North Star now," cried Spike. "Fire and Flames, she's reached the... oh, who's that, Majesty?"

"It's Pitch-Black, the Murky Water Witch," said Majesty. "She lives on the banks of the Black Murky Pool. She hates sunshine... she captures it and hides it away in the depths of the pool!" Everyone gasped in horror...

Meanwhile, North Star had seen something bright at the bottom of the dark pool. She flew down to take a look! "Heavy hooves the sprites must be trapped!" said North Star to herself.

As she looked, North Star heard Majesty's voice. "Free the sprites before the witch returns from the River of Blackness!"

"How can I do that?" asked North Star in dismay. "Seek the hep of Quaffa the Very Thirsty Frog," called a blackbird.

North Star looked around. There were lots of frogs! Which one was Quaffa? They all looked alike!

Then suddenly she saw a tiny pink frog with orange spots. "I'm Quaffa," said the frog. "How can I help?"

"I need to empty the black pool to free the sprites," said North Star. "Oh, is that all?" laughed the frog.

North Star watched in amazement as the pool emptied and Quaffa grew fatter and fatter. "Don't burst," she begged!

"Hurry, the witch is returning," cried Quaffa, who was beginning to grow smaller already. "Set course for Pony Land, North Star... the quickest way you can. Sprites... be ready to follow her, I'll deal with Pitch-Black!"

"Hurray, Quaffa has tripped up the witch and she has fallen into her own pool," laughed North Star. "Serves her right!"

So Summer came at last... thanks to North Star, Quaffa, and of course the Summer Sunbeam sprites!

Quaffa...that's a funny name.

Shady is next. Shady only popped up in two comics I know of, where she was confident and wore some magic sunglasses.
The first Shady comic is mostly about Bow Tie and Masquerade, so the last one is what I'll post here.
SHADY AND THE SNOW DRAGON

Shady was looking after Dibbles and Nibbles for the day while Gusty went to see the Flutter Ponies. She looked through her magic sunglasses and saw...

"Great falling snowflakes!" shouted Shady. "Just look at that... a snow dragon!" "He looks very big," said the twins!

"Go away!" shouted Dibbles bravely. "I only like dragons like Spiny and Prickles! You're much too big!"

"I'm sorry about that," said the dragon. "I won't hurt you. I like newborn ponies... especially twins. Please climb on my back. I'll take you to Winter Wonderland. It's a lovely place!" "We'll come if Shady can come too," said Dibbles. "Of course," said the dragon.

"Oh, look at those pixies skating! May we skate too?" asked the twins. "Take care, the ice may not hold you," warned Shady.

"It's perfectly safe," laughed the dragon. "All our ponds have magic ice which never breaks... it's wonderful!"

Shady looked through her glasses and saw... "Why, here comes my old friend Polly, the polar snow bear," she said.

"Hello, Shady," called Polly. "I'm just off to pick some snow fruits. Will you come with me?" "Yes!" cried the twins.

"All the fruit looks so frosty," said Dibbles. "Are you sure that it's all right to pick?" "Try it and see," laughed Polly. So Dibbles picked a frosty apple. "It tastes like apple ice-cream," she chuckled. "I'll eat it before it melts!"

"Don't eat too much or you will feel ill," warned Shady. "I can see another old friend near Painting Patch!"

"Come along, twins and help me fill up my paint pots," said Jack Frost. "I use them up every night painting Pony Land!"

So Dibbles and Nibbles held the pots steady while Jack poured in the frost paint. "I'll paint you a special picture," he said.

"You've just time to have a ride on the snow wonder-train," said the dragon. "Get in a carriage quickly. Off you go!"

The pixie porter blew his whistle and off they set. "Just look at the snowmen having a fight," giggled Nibbles. "Watch the fairies on the toboggan run! I hope no one falls off!" "They never do in Winter Wonderland," Shady assured them.

It was a long journey and before the end the twins were fast asleep. "Time to go home," Shady said to the snow dragon!

"Did we really just go to Winter Wonderland?" Dibbles asked later. "Yes, just look at the window," laughed Nibbles.
