Ok, this is kind of a sale feeler thread. 

I've been thinking of letting go of my Candy Carnival Blythe doll for quite awhile, but I haven't made the leap to officially putting her up for sale. She has never been removed from the packaging, aside from opening the outer box to get a better look at her (ie. she's still fully attached to the backing). I'd like to get $230 + shipping for her. I need to pay off a few upcoming bills, so I'm leaning more & more toward parting with this girl. If anyone is seriously interested, please send me a message.

Good luck! CC has such a pretty shade of blue hair. It's rare to see certain SBLs up for sale these days...

If you don't have any luck here, you should try Blythe Kingdom or the Dolly Adoption group on Facebook if you're a member of those communities.

Thank you! I'm not a member of any of those communities, and I'm not sure if people would trust me as a brand new member trying to sell right away. I might look into joining anyway. I'm also a little bit afraid that if I get too involved in a new collecting community, I'll want to buy more dolls.

Totally understandable! Blythe collecting can be quite dangerous to the wallet, heh. While dolls will always be my #1 passion, it was actually a pleasant change to branch out and collect a few types of toys other than dolls. They're so much more accessible and a lot less expensive.

Even if you don't have a lot of (or any) dolly feedback in the communities, people also warm up to others who have other forms of feedback, like through eBay or Etsy. I mention those stats whenever I make a for sale post-- always helpful and can't hurt! Also, just posting in the forums, especially BK, will help others feel more comfortable to communicate/trade with you.
