Have you rehaired SSC yet?
« on: May 31, 2013, 06:40:12 PM »
The 2ish inch PVC dolls with brushable hair? As seen here? I thinking of doing a few of them and was wondering if anyone has done any themselves and how hard it is to get the heads off.

Going to try to make a Cherry Jam one out of a Raspberry Torte. Any helpful advice would be grand :D

Since I am trying to do Cherry Jam anyone have a hank of hematite from Dollyhair? I am thinking that is the closest to her hair color.

Yah a new SSC. She is pretty and my second favorite now (first is Raspberry Torte). I would have never know they were making new characters. Can't wait to see her when you are done.. sorry I don't have hematite.

Working on painting a Strawberry Shortcake that is full PVC. It's a pain I washed her off pretty good but I think whatever they used to scent her hair is really oily based at least I know for next time. Taking quite a few coats and I will prob have to use a fine sand paper on it maybe. Pictures soon.
