Most of mine are pictured at Sebby's site here:

There are a LOT of Comics Spain figures. I don't think we can even begin to know how many as a lot have only been seen once. I do have a Comics Spain promotional poster that includes three ponies on it, but I don't think any of those three have actually been found. They didn't come with Spainish Comic books - the name of the company is actually Comics Spain

They make a lot of PVC figures, some of which are licensed, some are original. Most of mine have come from Spain, France or Germany, but I can't be entirely sure exactly where they were sold in the 80s. I had one as a child, but since we holidayed in Spain and France in the right time period, it could have come from there. I do recall other Comics Spain figures being sold in the UK, but not sure about MLP.
Although they don't actually look like specific ponies, I believe all of the symbols do actually relate to a known character from the early years.
If looking at Ahrian's site, the pricing is very out of date now. I typically pay $15-20 each for ones I don't have and have sold duplicates of the more common ones for $8-12 without problem.
I have actually been planning a Comics Spain website for a while, but never got round to starting it. Maybe I should while I have some time! They're one of my favourite parts of my collection, and I've been collating information for a while.
