Where would I sell these Disney gargoyles?

I got these large stuffed Victor and Hugo gargoyles from a movie theater when Hunchback was originally released. I've kept them ever since, but I just don't have the room anymore. I would really rather them go to a collector, and I don't really want to start selling things on ebay. Where would be my best bet? And where would I even ask for a price check?

No, they only had the gargoyles. They sat on top of the ticket booths.

To get a general idea of what they might be worth, you might consider spending $2 each on them by going ahead and listing them on eBay with an opening bid that is not so high as to drive off all bidders, but not so low as to attract the bottom feeders.  Then you put no BIN on them, but give them a reserve that is really up there, which no one in their right mind would bid up to (say $10,000 each?)

Since you get 50 free listings per month, all it would cost to find out how much people would pay is $2 per item, the reserve fee.  Actually, you might want to do it 2 or 3 times to really get a feel for what they might be worth, even if it does cost $2 per shot.  $4 to $6 for an appraisal on an unknown should be worth it (and you can then roll those costs into your price when you decide to then list them elsewhere for around what the bidders bid them up to.)

How big are they? Do they have any tags? Like a tush tag? What does the tag say?

I like them.... They'd fit perfectly into my Disney plushie collection..... But the shipping costs....... Ekk!

You may also want to put Hunchback in the title, because I'm a pretty big fan of the Gargoyles series, and my 1st thought was "OMG they made plastic Goliath?  DO WANT!"  Oh well, those gargoyles were also really cute, and I'm sure you'll find a buyer here or on eBay.

How about trying "Ghost of the Doll"? It's always nice for selling stuff because there are so many collectors of all kinds of toys there. Plus, you could do a price check there first, and it's all free.

Oh, and I agree that you should put "Hunchback of Notre Dame" in the title, no matter where you post it. I also thought of the "Gargoyles" TV series at first.
