Licca?
« on: May 16, 2013, 11:05:37 AM »
Anyone collect Licca?  Anyone have any of those Takara sets they sell for her?
Some of them are pretty detailed- (there is this donut shop that is soooo adorable http://www.flickr.com/photos/pigglys_playground/5611701922/in/set-72157626430163904

I recently found this one to (on Taobao) (Which I now realize the picture was stolen from the same flickr photographer above):

I think they'd look cute supplemented with some re-ment.

Here's the question-  Do ponies fit in them pretty well or are they too big ?  Anyone know?

I think they would suit each other.  I owned one doll and she was bigger than a Megan but shorter than a Barbie.  Right in between.

I don't quite collect Liccas, but I do use Licca bodies for my Blythe customs. :) I love how posable the limbs are and they add an extra air of innocence to Blythes! Here's an example of the two combined in my custom, Roslin Pinkinshire:

The body is from the Kyoto Licca, the only Licca known to have pale snow white skin.

If you're looking for even more clothes that fit Liccas, you should have a lot of luck looking by using "Blythe" in searches on Etsy, and even eBay.

My sister just returned from a six month stay in Japan. You would have loved the walls of Licca dolls toy shops had there! Total eye candy.

Oh she's super pretty!

That's interesting about Blythe and Licca-  maybe that's why I've seen so many Blythe pics when I look up Licca on google-  Blythe also seems to lounge in Licca playsets a lot (although for the life of me - I couldn't find a pic with a pony in a Licca playset)

I can see why! Licca and Blythe bodies are easily interchangeable, which definitely helps when it comes to dolly accessories and whatnot. ^^

In fact, the first six or so Blythes manufactured by Takara in 2001 and 2002 were made with Licca bodies. (One example of those is the Blythe in my avatar.) After those six, Takara started using the Excellent body-- a more Barbiesque body-- instead.
