my first competition since having my babies

i took my big ginger pony to a hunter trials last week. it was our first outing in nearly 4 years. i was very nervous (as you can see in the photos). i only did the 65cm pairs class, i needed a friend there for support

anyway i shouldn't have worried, Tigger was true to his name and bounced round the course with no problems. when we went to check the results we found we had come 2nd  we were only 8 seconds slower than the winners

we are going showjumping on Sunday, i hope it goes as well

Hey, that doesn't look too bad for cross country; I could maybe do smaller jumps like that!  The big ones I see in the major televised events just scare me.

Congrats!  Nice job!  Looks like you and Tigger had fun.

lol this was the little class for nervous/novice riders
the open is 120cm's, im not brave enough for that. the next one at this venue is in October so i might aim for the 80cm class

Cool, I wish I could bond with mine enough to trust them bitless. I mean they are in about the mildest bit you can think of but it is not the same.
