Long-haired/curly-haired Firefly and Medley

How long (cm) mane and tail are these two supposed to have? (I'd like to be sure who I have)

And was this release sold in the US only?

The curly haired versions have super duper long hair, their manes almost touch the bottom of their feet..
Firefly, Medley, Applejack and Bowtie were both released a 2nd time with the longer hair... Not sure if they were US only...

Looks like the long haired version to me.  The short haired version also has a shorter forelock (like Seashell's for example.)

I think she's long haired, but its possible someone cut her hair.

It's hard to tell if you have the long haired version if the hair in fact is cut.... If you wrap the hair around the neck if it's the shorter version it's just about 1/4" longer or close to the neck marks. The crazy long forlock is a good giveaway. Tails seem to be just about the same length between both versions; so it's the mane and forlock that are quite obvious.

Both long haired firefly and medley where available at least in nz (so I would assume australia and Scandinavia too) as I had them both as a child

My Firefly must be the long-haired one then. And her hair length looks about the same as in your pic mlp4me. So probably Firefly has full-long hair after all, yay. Now she only needs a re-curl
