I used to love Bratz, particularly the funky, edgy, creative fashions with the little details.  Unfortunately in the last few years Bratz changed and not for the better.  The clothing got cheaper and less creative; now that they have changed the size of the dolls, I'm done.

Fortunately right around that time Monster High came out and had that sort of creative clothing, and especially creative characters, with clever names and distinctive personalities!

I really appreciate that Monster High seems to respect its characters.  They take the time to create personalities, they make more than one version of most of their characters (with the most likely candidates for here-then-gone being characters like Cupid and HooDude and even THEY got webisode time).  And I like using my imagination to create my own monsters. :)

i also like the individuality and variation in the characters and the fact that they have such varied personalities and I think their designs and clothing, even the colours that are used on them kind of reflect the personality and over all design theme.

I barely know Bratz, I don't really like their face molds, but I do agree that they had very cool fashions, how did their bodies change and did they have many one off characters?

I apologize for going off topic here.

So THAT's why I am not into Bratz anymore. I knew something about them changed but I couldn't pin it to any one thing...
