How hard is it to find Rarity's Carousal???

My 3 year old saw a picture of Rarity's Carousal & has fallen in love. She has carried that picture around for 5 days now. Everywhere we go. Do you know if I can still find it in the stores????? How much it retailed for??? Or if anybody has it for sale now???  She says "Mommy, it's just the ponies I rode at the beach" So, I really need to find her this & I don't know if I should tell her that I can't find it & pray she moves on or if I should try to find it for her......

It seems to be really overpriced on eBay for some reason, but you could probably find a reasonably priced on here. I remember seeing one on clearance for 15 dollars but I didn't have the money at the moment

I have one still in package without any ponies the only real issue is shipping cost.

I saw one at a local thrift shop. However, while the music still plays, the carousel doesn't turn.

We still have them in stores here, and I really can't afford the $50 price tag, so I'm waiting for clearance! Hubby will carry on a bit, he's already told me we don't have the space, but I really want one, and I also really want Sweetie Swirl!

I've seen them go for super over priced on eBay (like almost $100!) if you didn't want the ponies may e you could find a member (who can still buy them in the store) who only wants the ponies and go like half in. Shipping will probably be expensive though.

They are an old set - a couple of years old now technically so that really does limit where you will be able to buy them off the shelf brand new. As others have mentioned you may manage to find a retailer with old stock [smaller independent toy shops with slower and lower footfall are your best chance] if they simply never sold out of the item.

Ebay is over priced on them at the moment although more will come on the second hand market given time but perhaps too much time in order to keep your little girl happy The price is high because to be fair the exclusive pony it comes with is pricey in herself when being sold loose.

Therefore as long as you are prepared for potential shipping costs, perhaps you could post over in the Wanted forum as being on the look out for this set and hopefully someone will be able to help you out.
