I really like the story with the baby ponies, I just love the cruse ship panflite, And the baby ponies remind be of a tropical evening from a 1980's cruse.

My mom sent in for them all when I was a kid. But we got our money and order back saying they were out of stock. To this day I have yet to get one. I just do not want them bad eought to pay the price they are going for.

I think the only one I have is Surprise, and she's missing some of her pearly coat. Not sure how to fix that.

Just bought Baby Surprise which finishes off the pearly babies collection. Yay!

These were one of the very few mail order items I actually got off my butt and sent the order form in to get when I was a kid.  I had plenty of Horse Shoe Points, and I actually filled out a lot of the mail order forms, but I just never sent them in:p 

I got three of the six.  I bought them because  I only had two regular baby ponies(Surprise and Moondancer), and I had wanted more of the set, but they had been long gone from stores.  So I got these as a sort of less awesome replacement.  They didn't have accessories, and I wasn't sold on the pearly thing, but I eventually figured weird looking ponies were better than no ponies at all. 

The only one I passed up despite not having her regular counterpart was Baby Glory.  I just couldn't deal with the blue thing.  She wasn't "correct", so I just wanted nothing to do with her.  I didn't get a Baby Glory until I got to college and discovered ebay:p  I still have my pearly babies: Firefly, Blossom, and Cotton Candy.

I never expected to get my hooves on one, but I just won a lot with pearly Baby Glory (and for a song, too!)... she came in the post this week!   She has no tail (so I'm looking for a donor baby Glory tail ), but she's the cutest little thing otherwise.

I hope everypony who's wanting one gets to get one - they're so adorable!

I do want them....but I wish they looked like they do in the catalogue. I like them better without the pearl on their eyes.

I completely agree. I would love them otherwise, I need them as I want to complete my collection. But they are so expensive for something I don't particularly like... And it's all down to those glazed pearly eyes!
