I have no idea what kind they are. I don't really know much about them. I didn't even know there were different kinds. Lol. I know they're from the late 80's/early 90's. i was born in 87 and my sister was born in 85. To be honest I was never really a big fan of them. They always kind of creeped me out when I was younger. (And still kinda do! )

Anyway, I mostly need help Id-ing, what goes where or what pieces a specific doll had, and price checks. I have no idea what dolls I have but I do know I have the check up center play set complete, and the dentist play set almost complete. I'm still looking for a few pieces in the house. Can anyone tell me anything about these? I never see them on eBay so I have no idea how much they're worth or anything. Even just basic info.

I do know a group of CPK fans who could help you in a flash, and one of them is on this board (infrequently), but honestly I don't think I could direct her to you, and would be a little surprised now if any CPK fan helps you out since you are essentially asking for help from a CPK fan, but also calling the thing they love "Creepy."

It is always fun talking about whatever it is that you collect, especially if you have lots of specialized knowledge and someone is legitimately interested -  but the fun decreases significantly if the person seeking your knowledge/help things that what you love is creepy.   For example I'd talk till I was blue in the face about the Rainbow Brite collection if you asked, but if you prefaced it by calling the lot weird and creepy-   I wouldn't give you the time of day.

Just a thought.

I get where you are coming from, but that's just my opinion. I'm not saying people aren't allowed to like them or if they do they're weird or something. I was just never that into them.

If you don't want to help me because I don't like something that you do, then that's fine.

I'm not trying to be rude or disrespectful, but it seems kind of silly to me to not help someone just because they don't like something that you really enjoy. If someone posted a question about monster high saying they had some dolls they'd like to sell because they were never really that into them because they were to gothic or ugly or something, personally it wouldn't even really dawn on me. I'd just be like "ok, I know a lot about MH, maybe I could help."  Idk. Again, I guess that's just my opinion.

As I said, I'm really not trying to ruffle any feathers so to speak, but I think we all just need to relax, and not take things so personally. I was just asking a question.

You are definitely entitled to your opinion- and I'm not suggesting in any way that you not share that opinion-  I'm just suggesting that your approach may be more successful if you left out that particular bit of information before asking, in the very next paragraph, the CPK fanbase for assistance...

Of course knowing how helpful and knowledgeable Arena peeps seem to be about nearly every doll and toy line-  maybe some nice CPK collector will help you notwithstanding the "creepiness" opinion.

We didn't have the large playsets here in the 80s, or if we did they were scarce and probably only sold in London or larger cities, but I've never seen them on Ebay here. If no-one here can help, I refer you again to the CPKCC or Open Cabbage groups.
