How much are Greek babies worth g1
« on: April 19, 2013, 02:25:56 PM »
I don't have any. There's a seller on etsy selling one for only 100 dollars and it looks to be in excellent condition. I'm not into the older ones but though it might be cool to have a pony that was made in Greece. Is that considered a lot or cheaper for a Greek baby. Oh it's the light blue haired one with blue stars? I forget what it's name is.

Sounds like Baby Bluebelle (Greek name Elsi). $100 is a very good price for her. I'd say she's worth closer to 200 in great condition.

Since her price is so low, she may be missing a lot of hair plugs. Missing 2 to 4 is almost normal; even MIB ponies can be missing plugs. But missing 6 or more will really start to affect the value, so check her mane.
Nirvana grails:  Reverse Gusty (upgrade), Peru Windy and Moonstone (upgrade), Brazil TAF upgrades, Argie Powder w/ white hair (upgrade), French Windy and Moondancer (upgrades), Spain TAF's, TE's, and piggies.  These are my biggest wants, but I'm looking for tons more nirvanas, especially Greeks, Brazilians, and Peruvians.  Feel free to PM me for sales or trades.  But please note that I'm also fairly picky.

I checked the description and her only flaws are a mane cut and some symbol light scratches. Her symbols are starting to bleed? Didn't know sumbols could bleed. Lol so no she doesn't sound like she has missing hair

Certain colors of symbols on Greek ponies are prone to bleeding into the plastic ;) Adult and Baby versions of Bluebelle, Butterscotch, Bowtie and Lemondrop especially are prone to this.

Symbol bleeding is quite common with them, and probably expected...?

I looked at her, doesn't appear to missing any hair, at least not noticeable.

If her hair is cut that is probably why she's only $100. As other have said symbol bleeding is common in Greeks of a certain colour.

Even with a bit of a mane cut and bleeding symbols, that sounds like a pretty good price for her :)

Yeah depending on if she's dark or light she can be fairly costly. I thought even the light baby Bluebelle can be costly depending on who's looking?

They are very hard to find, but it seems more of the more common ones have surfaced in the last few years.  It is safe to say though, that the ones in near-mint condition tend to get significantly higher prices than those that have more wear.

They have, in the past decade, ranged from as little as $100, to $3500.  It all depends on which one.
