Buyer to Avoid: Sonicrush (possible scammer)

Sad to say, within the first four auctions I've put on eBay, I've somehow managed to ALREADY come across a bum bidder! What a sad state of affairs.

So, here's a quick breakdown: this guy was the only bidder on my promo foil Applejack card, which ended on Easter: http://www.ebay.com/itm/290884131015?ssPageName=STRK:MESOX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1559.l2649 Long story short, he waited until AFTER the auction to ask if I could send it Priority for a VA signing event he had in three days, and when I sent him an updated invoice with Priority shipping the same night, he dropped all contact; this could mean two possible things.

1. He's just a new collector who didn't plan ahead and now sees no 'reason' to pay for a card he won't get in time for his event.
2. He was hoping I would ship the card without waiting for him to pay, and planned to bilk me out of a $50 card by playing the 'desperate fanboy' card.

I've been sending him invoices and messages once per day, for an entire week; and he hasn't responded or paid. (Not even a "I can't pay until X day, can you wait?" and yes, they were friendly messages! ) So on the seventh day, I finally told him he had two days to pay or I was reporting him as a non-paying bidder. And still no reply!

So I just thought I'd give you guys a heads-up - this guy is either a savvy scammer, or a kid who got in trouble for playing with mommy's credit cards. Either way, a good person to avoid!

In case he comes up with a new eBay SN, his initials are "J-- T--" and the city/state he's in is Monroe, MI. And again, his current SN is Sonicrush, and he has a whopping two feedback to his name right now. Keep an eye out!

I tried to add him to my blocked buyers list but it said invalid ebay user id.. I just copy and pasted the name.. Sonicrush  Any idea what went wrong? Maybe his account is suspended?

Well, today was the deadline, and no payment. :/ Time to go report him, I guess. Thanks for all of the supportive posts though!! I'm glad people will at least hear about this guy, hopefully it'll keep him from wasting anyone else's time. >

looks like they haven't bought anything on ebay for a long time until this, I wonder if they didn't realize how expensive postage has gotten, and decided to just forget it.  After all, you can't leave a neg, but I bet they don't know they'll get a strike against them as a NPB

What's ridiculous is - Priority shipping would have only been like, six bucks? The biggest problem was that he didn't bother to tell me until after the auction that he needed it within the week. :/

Also, I've opened an 'item not paid' case on eBay; anyone know how long I have to wait until I can close it and get my fees back?

Wow, he has all of two feedbacks... a 'thanks' and an 'A++++++'??? Vague on one and the other... how do you give that sort of ranking? I mean... it doesn't make sense in retrospect, because it doesn't say how.... whatever went.

4 Days. If you go to close it early, it will tell you that you have to wait till a specific day and time in order to get your fees back.

4 Days. If you go to close it early, it will tell you that you have to wait till a specific day and time in order to get your fees back.

It's been five days, with no response from him; so when I hit 'close case,' they gave me an option to state whether I'd been paid or not. I hit no, and then it said they would return my fees automatically and he would have a mark on his account. Woot!
