Blythe Outfit Help wanted

Hey I made this dress and even though the photo color looks off, its actually grape purple.  The tights do match in natural light at home.  When I took the photo, the camera changed the color of the dress somewhat.  Something doesn't look right.  Are the tights all wrong?  Do I need like stripes instead of hearts maybe?  It took me hours to sew this.  Maybe I need solid tights.  I am going to be making a hat, coat and boots also.  The coat will be the same color as the owl.  So what is all wrong with this?  The tights are made out of an old pair of socks.  Ignore the necklace it doesn't go with this I was just too lazy to remove it.

I think it's really cute! But as you said, you may do better with solid tights, picking up one of the colours of the appliqué on the dress.

Okay, I guess I will get some gray socks at Target so I can make her some tights.  My husband was just amazed at my sock tights.  He says, "how in the world did you know to make tights this tiny out of a sock?" He loved them, but these are wrong for this outfit.  I love wild prints so it will be tough going for a solid, but I know that is what I need.  Now for the shoes. Hmmmm
