Public Service Announcement. Just a head's up about PM notifications.

I'm picking on ya'll who are doing transactions here at the Arena as that seems to be the source of the worst offenders. There is a trend that some members who get PM notifications via email tend to directly respond to said email instead of responding through the Arena's PM system.

It means your message gets seen by the Arena's mail mod (a.k.a., me), instead of the person that PMed you initially.

It even says in the email notification:

You have just been sent a personal message by XYZ Member on The MLP Arena.
IMPORTANT: Remember, this is just a notification. Please do not reply to this email.

(emphasis mine)

I'm not pointing this out to embarrass anyone. Instead, it's more of a "in case you were wondering why the person didn't seem to get your message" kind of deal. Please be mindful of it. Thank you for your attention.

Can I tell you how many times I've hit the reply button when I get the email notification, luckily I always stop myself and log into my account. I'm not making excuses or anyone but I can totally see why some people do it as its what you normally do. You guys must read some funny stuff  lol. Thanks for all your hard work

My e-mail notifications are so delayed, I've always responded to the message here before my phone alerts me. (Awesome cell service here.)

LOL don't so many times, I've gone to reply to the email notification but somehow managed to catch myself before hitting send. Since the PM text is included in the notification, it's easy to forget ^^ thanks for the reminder, SDS!
