argh!!

un-frikken-believable!!!

Stupidest thing.  I was just sorting through my daughters' toy box, trying to do a quick clear out of not so needed toys before we move in a few weeks. As I was sorting all the little doll accessories I came across a wee green comb that once upon a time I had thought might be a G1 MLP comb. I dismissed it though because of the colour and thinking it was too big and kept it for the kids (it had recently come from a neighbour who was also moving and who had off-loaded a heap of her own daughter's toys onto my girls. She's a thrift store frequenter, so many of the things were probably third or fourth hand by now).

Tonight however when I saw the comb, I thought, this really does look like an early comb, so I took it and checked it against some MLP accessories I have tucked away - holy heck - it was one!! I immediately ran off to mylittlewiki to find out who the comb belonged to. It's from the Perfume Puff Palace!

And then I saw it....

The little pink handbag.

The same (I am certain) little pink handbag I have kicked aside, nearly vacuumed up a million times, threatened to throw in the rubbish if it wasn't put away... Was that handbag, that had come with the same stuff the comb had come with, ALSO from the palace??!! 

Well... I have searched and searched and searched, and do you think I can find that stupid little handbag now!!!?? 


I hope it will turn up

Oh dear lol, that is frustrating!

I almost threw away a first tooth pillow and a toothbrush and toothpaste before I knew that they went with my old ponies!

I passed up on the Lullaby Nursery tub at the thrift store because I didn't recognize it as MLP :S I also think I gave away a G3 item, though I'm not too bothered by it, since it's not G1, but still. I felt so silly when I realized it was MLP

I sooked a PE comb up the hoover once Still upsets me to this day...

I am sure you ll find that handbag Marlin when you are least expecting to find it! Fingers crossed for you

Lol!! You're right Hathrocat - it did turn up    And it wasn't from the puff palace     Rats!! Would have been so exciting if it was!

I asked my littlest daughter before bed where the bag was (more out of desperation, not expecting any helpful answer) and she said quite plainly 'it's in the car'. 'Oh,' I replied. This morning on the kindy run, sure enough, there it was!  Guess I need to give my little demons a little more credit!

Got to laugh at your story above! In our house if anything is missing and I mean anything we always ask our 3 year old, she knows where everything is. Even if it's not something you'd expect her to take any notice of!

What an adorable story. I can imagine the frustration of not being able to find something when it is needed. I can never find things ..even if the things were in my hands earlier. It is just so cute about how everything worked out in the end : )
