What ever a shampoo and conditioning treatment can't help, usually.

I don't mind hair cuts as long as it's not too noticeable. Missing plugs, mohawks, buzz cuts and just really super dry hair will get a rehair. I haven't rehaired but I plan on trying to do it myself. I have tons of hairless ponies right now.

I rehair either when the hair is cut really badly, or if it's incredibly frizzy. (Can't stand frizzy hair!!!)

Pretty much only if all the hair is gone. Baldy ponies all get new hair. I think I may have cut the hair from common ponies with very short manes and no tails before, but they also tend to have slightly baity looking bodies too. I'm planning on rehairing my Italian Snuzzle soon, and she has a buzzcut and virtually no tail.

I usually have good results taming frizzy hair with conditioner and straighteners. But I haven't as yet had a pony with a random bit cut out of the middle of her mane, not sure how I'd feel about that. A couple of my ponies have cut fringes and that doesn't really bother me at all.
