Dragonvale! Does anyone play?

Hey guys! I recently got an iphone, and my sister convinced me to start playing Dragonvale. I'm addicted! She doesn't play very often, and I don't have any other friends on the game yet, so I'm wondering if anyone here plays? I'm only at level 11, so kinda just starting out. I wish things like breeding and hatching didn't take so long! I love seeing all the different dragons though, and some of them are so cute!

ME!! I've been addicted to Dragonvale for months (just hit level 28! Whoo!). It's a super fun and addicting little game with tons of dragons to collect. And the makers are adding new dragons all the time, so there is always something to do.

As for taking a while, don't I know it! I spent the last couple of months trying for a gemstone dragon (they change every month) and instead I hit seven 48 hour dragons (5 Moons and 2 Suns)!! And for those that don't play, that's 48 hours breeding time and then another 48 more hours to incubate in the nursery. I thought I would pull my hair out. And for all that trouble, I've only managed to get this month's gemstone, Diamond.

The Sun and Moon dragons look cool! I would love to get the solstice dragon and equinox dragon and others like that. Do you just breed random combinations to get these special ones? The gem dragons are neat too! Hopefully I can get a diamond one before the end of the month!

Moons are probably my most favorite (it's the only dragon I keep multiples of). They are so pretty! I use the Dragonvale Wikia page (this one to be exact) to find out what to pair together to get what dragon. On each page they list what combination of elements it takes, but I often look in the comments below as people will list which specific dragons people chose to use. Makes things easier for me. Limited, Epic, Gemstone dragons are fairly hard to breed sometimes and will take multiple tries to achieve. It's definitely frustrating, but don't give up! Good luck on that Diamond! Also make sure you have your gemstone island ready, it's the only place they can live.
