When you paint on ponys how you get the paint to stick and do you use any special paint?
Since the files you have them with sand paper or something?

the color I'm using now attached to everything but it does not stick at times and it is a hobby paint.  -_-

I use either craft acrylics (apple barrel, ceramacoat, etc) or hobby acrylics (vallejo or model masters).

As far as the paint not sticking to the pony...did you use acetone or some other paint remover on that pony?  If you don't wash the ponies well after using a product to remove the factory paint, it can cause problems with the paint adhesion.  Good luck!  :)

Can you tell me exactly what type of hobby paint you are using (brand and type)?  Is it enamel rather than acrylic?  That could also cause a problem.  :)

ETA:  Also, what type of bait are you using?  I seem to recall that some people have had unique paint adhesion issues with some BB and G4s?  I don't use these as baits, so I can't really give specific help with those.

I normally use a primer before painting. It helps the paint sticking to the surface!

Definitely use a primer. It gives the paint something to "stick" too and helps prevent staining, bleeding and such. I have used Testors Dullcote and it's great! Also, Primer helps keep the paint from getting sticky or being accidentally rubbed/smeared when you are painting. I use a few coats of it in between colors just for added protection.
