Ok sorry this is a dumb question, but I keep missing out on swaps....I always see brag threads for such...which catagories are swaps started in? are they in the Pony Corral? The Off Topic? just where do they start?

Pony themed swaps start in the Corral, custom swaps are posted in Customs, art swaps in Art, swaps for various random items start in OT, doll swaps in the Dollhouse, Monster High swaps in Monster High, well....You get the idea I think. They are started in whichever forum they are most relevant to all over the board. Good luck finding one you like!

Really it depends on what kind of theme the swap has. There is a swap list sticky in the customs forum for custom swaps. Most happen in the corral since they are pony related but others happen in off topic if they are not pony related or customs.

You just have to scan the posts in whichever category you're interested in. So if you want to do a pony swap go to pony corral and watch for one. Swaps are started randomly and sign ups last for a little while so most people can see them and have a chance to join.

Sometimes you'll see a "gauging interest" thread come up before the swap - seeing how much interest there is. Then if it moves forward, you'll be able to keep an eye out for it.
