Cheapest way to send a 1 kg box from Texas to Canada?

So, I'm looking to pick up some cheap scrubs for school, because up here in Canada, it costs $44 for a pair of nice pants    I found a company that does them for $20 a piece  , but unfortunately, they don't ship to Canada.  So I need to have them sent to my brother's, and THEN sent here...

Unfortunately, I suck at navigating the U.S. postal service, so if anyone has any idea as to the cost, please let me know!

Let's see, 1 kg is just under 2 lbs. 4 ounces; so, it would be $17.55 to ship First Class to Canada.

$2.45 isn't much of a difference in price, really!  Especially if you are ALSO paying for the shipping to your brother in the USA!  I'd go pick out a pair in person!

Yeah- there IS no cheap way to ship to Canada anymore- after the recent postal hike.
