Um... I need help. .w.
« on: March 06, 2013, 10:35:13 AM »
I just got the Rainbow Dash I needed today. When I popped the head off, somehow a piece of the rotating plug broke off and got stuck inside of the head. I'm trying to get that part out so I could use that head for a different (custom) pony.
I tried scissors to make the hole bigger, but no use.
I tried using tweezers (mind you, they were quite big enough to fit into the hole. The tweezers were not that small), a safety pin... no luck.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can get that piece out? Please help! ;_;

Pop the head in very hot water (I tend to put hot tap water in a pan and put the pony in, then put it on the hob and keep puling it out with tongs as it heats up to check the softness), and eventually it'll get super-soft. That's your best bet. Once it's soft you can either squeeze it out (you might need to slice the opening a little) or yank it out with forceps.

Good Luck!

Oh, thank you so much for the help! I don't know how I can repay you. Why didn't I think of putting the head in boiling water? XD
