Grand Champions forum?

A friend of mine wants to start collecting Grand Champions again and is hoping to find an online community of collectors...I unfortunately don't know much about the GC world, so I'm hoping that some of you can suggest Grand Champion forums!  Thanks for your help!

there aren't very many active ones. The GCMHC is probably the best, though.

Try model horse photography clubs if she's into that sort of thing, they tend to be more active, although finding ones that 'accept' GC's can be a challenge.

That's super helpful - thanks so much!  I'm sad to see that the GC community isn't very active...I had some of them as a kid and loved them. 

Just out of curiosity - why do model horse photography clubs tend to not accept GCs?

It's silly but it's mostly because some of them tend to have a less than perfect anatomical structure, I for one used to love them but sadly now I'm trying to get rid of my collection...they're all really old .

I didn't know anyone still collected them honestly.

Yeah it's because of the anatomical issues. GC's are kinda vague, so not many 'serious' collectors like them. I personally think they have more personality, although I'm not actively collecting.. I just don't have room for something that big and breakable. I have seen a few clubs with GC divisions though. Here's some eye candy!

I had a few when I was younger! I still think they are beautiful I had a few foals, a mare and a stallion that would rear up and make neighing and galloping noises.

I should find them and set them up with my mlp collection, once I finally get organized enough to set them up somewhere!

I have a few GC from my childhood, I always thought they were well done. It's sad some communities shun them.

Someday I hopefully can have them on display (along with my other toy horses), but for now I don't have enough shelves for my ponies
