I got the MLP Applejack brushable with the hat and in the new package.. which was soo much easier to open.  anyway as I'm opening her I'm thinking "yea this new packaging is the reason they went down in price I'm sure."

I also noticed something else which has been posted before but I haven't been to the thread in a while.

That "Glass Slipper" on her leg, I'm guessing Hasbro started noticing that the Rubber bands are leaving marks on their legs? so they started putting "The Boot" on them.  It's actually pretty awesome.. ha..

 I get why they put them there - or at least I think I do - which is as you say to protect to plastic from the band. But I quite like leaving mine with their hair wrapped up and the band on.

Trying to take the boot off without the band coming off and the hair unravelling is hard. Especially for clumsy people like me And leaving it on means they stand wonky

I think they have had the boot for a few waves I don't like it as much as the rubberband because it is hard to get off and every once in a while it will leave a sticky mark

The pros and cons of pony packaging I guess! I think anything that protects the plastic is a good thing to be honest but making it tough to get off may defeat the purpose a little.

However, I do now want a pony with 4 little see though glass boots.

I think they replaced the hard-to-get-off ones with a new one. It's easy to remove

wouldn't know.. haven't bought those ponies because arg main 6 :c I also haven't seen AJ.. only RD, TS, Pinkie, and Fluttershy.. AJ would have been the only one I got because of the hat

I didn't have any trouble slipping her boot off.. no sticky residue, unless your talking about the old wrap they had..
I don't like repeats of the mane 6 either but I have 4 pinkie pies.


Our walmart had just released AJ and Rarity so I grabbed AJ because of the hat was just gonna paint it brown and put it on my old AJ with bangs, but when I put it on Tinsel haired AJ I thought it was too cute so I guess she stays that way lol
I wanted to grab the Rarity as well but I didn't have the money.. =/
