How to do :muffin: Pony style hair?
« on: February 23, 2013, 07:50:04 PM »
I'm going to be taking my shingin armor and cadence figures and turning them into dr whooves an :muffin: Pony. I'm good with painting and all that, but I have no idea on how to go about cutting their hair to the character styles. I'm going to be rehairing them of course, but once I'm done with that I'd like to style them to loom as close to the show characters as possible. And suggestions?

Shorter hair styles are tricky. Dr. Whooves has a spike look, which should be pretty easy. Drama pony's hair lays flatter. One sugestion is to use boiling water and rubber bands to get the hair flat before you trim it. Much easier than getting it flat when its short.

I agree. Short hair is tricky. I styled my Rainbow Dash (she has a similar style to Drama Pony) and it looked great for a while but after a couple of months it started to unstyle and just look messy :(
